An assortment of egg layers, producing multi colored, high quality eggs. Chickens are so much fun! Our girls have a swing, a dust bath, a ladder, and several other stimuli type things in their coop, but free range most of the day. They are very social and will run to you when called. Yes, we do talk to our chicks, because a happy chick will produce great tasting eggs daily, which is our goal. They know when its time to go in for the night and will wait by the door on their coop, likewise they are ready to roll out when the sun comes up. They love cold veggies with seeds in them, and look like a dinosaur when they chase bugs in the air. It’s my favorite thing to watch them do. We hope by honoring them with Goddess names, that they return the gesture with simple Goodness in the form of daily protein! Rock on Dixie Chicks!
