I recently wrote a digital recipe book, called Twisted Teas & Tanglefoot. I put it together as part of a checklist I have to build my brand, but I have to admit, I really enjoyed the process. Tanglefoot has an informal meaning of intoxicating liquor, so I used it to indicate the alcohol aspect of the book. My motto is “A great tea is good for you; a Tanglefoot tea is intoxicating!” (If you grab a copy, I sincerely hope you enjoy it! Please do feel free to contact me and let me know your thoughts). The recipe part was easy, as they are part of my daily world, but the Twisted ideas could be a little challenging at times. I wanted to make sure I explored both the twisted and the tanglefoot aspects. I ended up naming a drink after each of my boys, myself, and my husband which, it was fun to watch that take shape. It was also very therapeutic to follow something through from start to finish. To see the beautiful outcome of labor and just to feel like I contributed something was empowering. I’m fairly sure I will do something similar again, very soon!
